The 2012 India Chapter traversed the complex challenge of reorganization. It highlighted new models, operating structures, questions around centralization/decentralization, and how clients are driving business in emerging markets. 'Reorganizing for the Future' was a key challenge for the pharma industry given the new set of challenges that they were facing with regard to shrinking pipelines, increased regulatory requirements, shrinking budgets, driving robust growth of emerging world economies, and decreased growth from developed markets.
The event was held on October 19, 2012, at the Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai.
This year, PHARMAFUTURE ™ highlighted the changes that pharma companies are undergoing to meet the shift in the business environment. Market trends forced the companies to rethink their operations strategy, and to implement innovative models to deliver better outcomes, grow brands, reduce costs, and drive innovation.
